He is currently Professor of Civil and Commercial Procedural Law at the Escuela Libre de Derecho and also participates as an Assistant Professor of Commercial Law in the same educative institution. He is also Professor of Commercial Procedural Law at the Escuela Judicial del Poder Judicial del Estado de Guanajuato, which offers continual education for Judges and Magistrates in the state of Guanajuato, México.
He is an active member of the National Association of Corporations Lawyers (Asociación Nacional de Abogados de Empresa, Colegio de Abogados, A.C.).
His activity emphasizes on civil and commercial litigation. He has represented Mexican and international clients in complex litigation regarding shareholders’ disputes, minority shareholders’ rights in public and private corporations, bankruptcy litigation, and judicial intervention in commercial arbitration. Furthermore, Mr. García advice private entities on corporate governance and has experience in restructuring contracts with the Federal and States Public Administration.
